I don't recall the exact records, but Tommy was the dominant player for the day. He murdered just about every set that he saw, and even some that he didn't see. We had six players out: me, Cory, Tommy, Greg, Bryan, and Ted. We ran one court of doubles and one court for drills for the two that were off. I'm pleased to say that the drilling court was just as active as the playing court all day. I went home really sore. Sorry you couldn't make it Zeke! We should get back to our regularily scheduled Sunday sessions this weekend.
we tried rally last sunday for the first time ever. it was alright i guess, but it'll take some getting use to. is the serving rotation any different? or is it still even # on the right & odd # on the left? it is to 21, right? all these changes got me feeling like an old man already.
Yes: even serves from the right and odd serves from the left. Play to 21, win by 2 with a cap at 25. (So you could win by 1 if it's 25-24.) The only difference is that you don't switch sides when you begin serving after a side out. You'll get used to it pretty quickly. Even Ted Martin does it now as a matter of second nature and without complaining, and he's REALLY old.

One more thing: I'm finding that I really prefer rally scoring over the traditional method.
